Eisenhorn (A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus) Dan Abnett
Publisher:

Wherever they go, and whatever dangers they face, they will .. With his warband he scourges the galaxy in order to root out heresy. Into the 40k universe since the mid 90¡äs) and i love abnett's writing, i do recommend starting with his work for anyone looking to take a step into the 40k universe. (Just discovered 'Hereticus' came out a decade ago. I recently reread the Eisenhorn omnibus and I have got to say, it is a really cool story. If any of you ever have the chance, check it out. I'm reading this and it's amazing. Prospect: a sci-fi epic comprising seven hundred and fifty pages of densely packed text in three novels and two linking short stories, set in the deep and almost impenetrable mythos of Games Workshop's Warhammer 40k. I was heavily into 40K as a teenager and read Abnett's Eisenhorn books when they first came out. I would not recommend this Ominbus as an introduction to the Universe of 40k however, unless the idea of the Inquisition is especially appealing to the reader. Prospero Burns is a work of fan fiction based upon the Warhammer 40,000 gaming universe. Inquisitor Eisenhorn is one on the most senior members of the Imperial Inquisition. Despite being fragmented, the 'Warhammer 40000'¨Cbased novel 'Prospero Burns' takes the Space Wolves to a new high. Needless to say these awesome This novel is a landmark in Black Library's publishings as it was the first 40k novel to go into the lives of ever day citizens in the Imperium and because of that I will do my best to make this one of the richest and most detailed games of Dark Heresy that will ever be played. My recomendations would be the eisenhorn omnibus, or the gaunt's ghosts series. It's set in the Warhammer 40k universe, and is centered around the title character, who is an Imperial Inquisitor. The three stories in this omnibus tell the tale of Inquisitor Gideon Ravenor and his lethal band of operatives, whose investigations take them from the heart of the Scarus Sector to the wildest regions of space beyond, and even through time itself.
